The development consists of 8 farm steading conversions and 20 new-build homes.
The existing steading buildings have been retained where structurally possible and have been designed as long-plan buildings in groupings to continue the development pattern of the existing steadings. The contractor issues relating to risks highlighted related to the Traffic Management, access issues and scaffolding on public road / footpath. The 1st phase has been completed with the 2nd & 3rd phases underway.

The works consist of the renovation of an existing farm steading to form 11 dwellings, incorporating the existing stone walls where possible and constructing cavity wall construction where necessary. Demolition of unstable existing structures were carried out prior to any construction work taking place.
The project is currently progressing on site and is programmed for completion in April 2007.
