We were initially contacted by Inveresk Plc to tender for the role of planning supervisor for the removal of plant and equipment from Kilbagie Paper Mill in Alloa. We worked in close conjunction with the client to ensure that all information relating to the health & safety issues within the site were included in the pre tender health & safety plan. These included asbestos, hazardous chemicals, confined spaces, existing high voltage electrical services and high pressure steam pipes. The remainder of the plant was to remain fully operational throughout the duration of the works.
Further to the completion of the works at Kilbagie, we were appointed by Inveresk to oversee their involvement in respect to the removal of paper-making machines and ancillary pipework and equipment at Westfield Paper Mill in Bathgate, Caldwells Mill in Inverkeithing and Carrongrove Paper Mill in Denny.
